Every day the papers bring fresh evidence that we really are skidding towards the precipice of civilisation - the Dianification of Jade Goody, bankers getting fat on our taxes, the media deciding that Liverpool are the greatest team in history because they haven't lost to someone like 'Boro for, oh, a good fortnight now. Dark and desperate.

In times like these you scan the horizon for signs of hope. And eventually they arrive. Watch this and weep for joy...
