received (this in lieu of the Thank-you letters that we are never quite organised enough to get round to writing/sending).

That out of the way, it has to be said that the award for the grooviest present of the year - and I'm including the Barack Obama pyjamas that I myself received from Cath in this - goes to Uncle Michael and Auntie Jacinta for this utterly fantastic 'Hungry Caterpillar' baking set. The full glory of the apron will be seen on another pic, but this one does justice to the bandana and the bowl, and Olivia's pride in wearing children's literature's most famous scoffer on her forehead is blatant for all to see.
