Halloween - as is the norm - was quickly followed by Bonfire Night, and thanks are due to Lucy and Iain for popping round with a pile of pyrotechnics to detonate in the back garden. Olivia was captivated by the first few, oohing and aahing all the way. Alas this didn't last. Though they were sold as bang-less, mute fireworks, some hissing and banging did escape and Olivia was soon making a dash for the safety of the dining room, where she alternated between sobbing and saying 'Ooh!'
