Olivia celebrates her birthday by kicking back and firing up a tube of penne pasta! Snooty food snobs would no doubt sneer at our choice of Frankie and Bennie's as the venue for Olivia's birthday meal, but we laugh in the face of such of such fools and chow down on our delicious bacon cheese burgers! Olivia plumped for a simple bowl of pasta - I calculated that the mark up on this was somewhere in the region of 8000% - and proceeded to hurl most of it around the restaurant, giving the waitress no option but to earn her tip by scooping it all up.

As devoted parents we are of course convinced that Olivia is the most precocious child in the history of mankind, but even we didn't share the confidence of the waitress who brought Olivia a virtually adult knife and fork and a child's fun pack. I think she would have served her a glass of wine if we'd asked for one!

Still it was a mighty fine meal and until Leonis becomes a chain and sets down a branch in Bolton this ersatz Italian will do for us!
