Anyone who knows anything about the rituals of the Bland family, knows that Friday night is Pizza night, a tradition dating back several years and one that will be upheld across the globe when Blandism is finally recognised as a valid creed. After several weeks of Olivia trying to cadge scraps from our pizzas, this Friday we gave her one of her own. In many ways the Friday pizza is the communion wafer that binds members of the Bland faith, and I think the picture above shows that Olivia already views munching on the sacred dish as a kind of sacrament.
All of which tells me, that after only a month, working in a Catholic environment is getting to me in potentially dangerous ways. I'm off to mix formula now. Olivia's thoughts on Sammy Lee, the final series of the Soprano's, and that Dairy Milk advert with the gorilla, will have to wait for now. I'll try not to leave it so long...

anyway, pizza, yes, erm well it's round like a communion wafer I suppose - and does indeed go down a treat with a good glug of red wine...
