It is a fact of post-partum (as I believe the medical fraternity refer to it) existence, that it can take a while before, how shall we say, full marital relations are restored after childbirth. Consult any of the relevant guide books on the subject and they will confirm that it can be a long process requiring sensitivity and patience on the part of both partners. Childbirth can leave a sense of rawness and of fear, and it's imperative that the male partner in particular does not put their partner under unnecessary pressure.

Well, that said, I'm pleased to announce that on Monday night, almost a full year after we did it last, myself and Catherine...played Scrabble! Naturally both of us were a little ring rusty at first, and i'd be lieing if i said that either of us achieved the full, orgasmic delights of a seven letter word - though we did get a few sixes - but nonetheless, it felt wonderful to be back. Even better as i've taken a two game lead in the series and am confident of winning the whole thing!
