Don't be fooled by the somewhat out of season festive themed bib that Olivia is sporting, this picture was taken this very morning as we return to the blogging trail after what seems like months away. What's new in the interim you ask. Well, Olivia is growing at a ferocious pace, fuelled by the fact she's now up to two meals of solids per day. Cath's repertoire is taking in all kinds of exotic combinations of fruit and veg, and it's giving rise to a vibrant spectrum of colours decorating Olivia's nappy. At times, so impressed have I been with some of her efforts that I've been tempted to whip out the camera and get them posted up here, but thankfully Cath has intervened to prevent me.

Also new is that fact that Olivia has developed a rather disconcerting physical mannerism. This involves her repeatedly raising her arm and beating her first on her chest. It's rather like what Alan Smith does on those infrequent occasions when he scores. More worryingly it has uncanny echoes of a gesture favoured by those two bastions of hardcore fascism; followers of Leeds United and followers of Hitler. Is Olivia destined to a Nazi or, even more worryingly, a Leeds fan? We pray not.

Cath believes that it's the legacy of their attending Sing and Sign classes on a Saturday morning and that this is her attempt to recreate the sign for oink-oink in their renditions of Old Macdonald. Hopefully this is the case and that she isn't a junior white or a junior white supremacist.
