It should be pretty obvious what Niall's game is here. Clearly he's heard some rumour that I let slip the fact that if the house was burning down and I could only grab one thing it would be my prized copy of 'Fools Gold' purchased from HMV in Oldham on its day of release, complete with free John Squire art-print. I know your game, Niall. You're trying to disguise yourself as said record, in the hope that, in the smoke, confusion, and panic, I'd grab you instead.

Only, hold on, sonny, you reckoned without one tiny detail that even the most amateur Roses-ologist would rumble you for. As everyone knows, the initial batch of singles bore the words 'What The World Is Waiting For'. It was only when Fools Gold was whipped into the firmament by the zephyrs of the zeitgeist (indulgent, moi?) that subsequent pressings were labelled 'Fools Gold 9:53'.
