How long? August last year? Do blogs still even exist? Haven't we evolved to another phase of communication entirely now? (By which I mean twitter, the place where we've been doing our online hanging-out in that interminable interim since our last post). So what kept us? And why choose now to break our silence? So many questions...

As per it always was, work provides most of the answers. Too much inexcrable crap to mark, not enough hours left over to log the latest of Olivia's accomplishments. So I'm afraid, unless you were watching on twitter, you missed Olivia's mastery of the Sky+ remote or her worrying infatuation with Wagner. Milestones of major import I'm sure you'll agree.

And why today? Well, it's the first day of the Easter hols, so work is firmly shoved to the back-burner until at least tomorrow morning. And later today, United will do their bit to ensure that the ticker on the Stretford End rolls on for another year. Hence, this picture of Olivia in the intimidating stance that will be awaiting Ballotelli and co. as they take to the Wembley turf this teatime.
