Paris? Las Vegas? Erm, not quite. To celebrate the arrival of Summer last Sunday we made our way to Blackpool, jostling our way along a Prom awash with Jocks and Junkies. (NB Jock is not being used in a pejorative sense. Junkie, however, is). In spite of the sun, wild gusts sent us bowling to the end of the Central Pier -and almost out to sea - from where this shot was taken. Olivia took a shine to the donkeys, yelling 'Gee-gees' whenever her eyes alighted on one, but was even more smitten by the amusement arcades, and needed to be dragged from one such den of sin.
