So being sneaky types, we tested her out by asking her questions that we knew she'd never answer no if she knew what the word actually meant. Such as 'Does Olivia want to watch Ceebeebies?' Her response? 'Yes.'
Other words joining 'wow-wow', 'no' and the rarely used 'yes' in her vocabulary, include 'na-na', 'duck', 'baba' - probably, no apart, her favourite word, and thanfully, 'mummy' and 'daddy'. No profanities as yet, but we live in f*&$ing hope!
And she also has a habit of saying 'all gone', only it comes out sounding like 'Al Gore'. Unless she really is saying Al Gore. In fact now I think, she could be saying 'Obama' when we think she's saying 'Mama'. Could it be that Olivia's entire vocabulary comprises Democratic candidates for the American Presidency? 'No.'
Phew. That's a relief.
