Olivia - as well as her Mummy and Daddy - would like to extend a message of welcome to the world to Miss Hannah Rose Simms, daughter to Howard and Vicki! Hannah has clrealy inherited her father's relaxed attitude to punctuality, arriving nearly two weeks late, almost beating the record of being three weeks late set by Howard during one of his spells working flexi-time a few years ago.

To celebrate Hannah's birth, Olivia is sending out a gift to the Simms family - but one that is available to all visitors to this here blog - in the shape of an mp3 of Paul Simon's 'Father and Daughter'. Technically this is of course illegal, but surely Mr Simon and his record company wouldn't seek to prosecute a 15 week old child! Just in case I'll add the disclaimer that if you like this song, then do rush out and buy the album that it came from, though be aware that this album contains not a single song up to the standard of 'Father and Daughter', though Brian Eno does contribute some nice electronic glitches to the sonic palette to keep it sounding contemporary. Well that's what Olivia thinks anyway.
