It is our custom here on Olivia's blog to toast the arrival of the sons and daughters - but mostly daughters - of Daddy's homeboys, with a little light pilfering from the record industry in the shape of an illegally distributed MP3. Debating the rights and wrongs of this won't detain us, suffice to say that I bought the new Bjork album and as far as I'm concerned, that means the record industry owe me. Big time.

To salute the arrival of Daisy Emily Vincent into the world I've plucked this gem from the archives, the sound of Loudon Wainwright III singing a delightful paean to his daughter. That his daughter Martha repaid the compliment by writing 'Bloody Mother Fucking Arsehole' should not spoil our enjoyment of this song.
